 You could try introducing a toy, do a sensual massage for each other or dress up (he can do that one too). Try to stay away from having a specific time where you have sex and do it randomly throughout the day even if it is just a quickie, those can be alot of fun. They are alot easier if you live alone or together but still possible if you don't.
My gf and I once were just getting something from the kitchen one night and one thing led to another and we had sex right there. Keeping it random can really keep it interesting.

 Have you tried role play? Maybe dressing up in sexy lingerie, using toys whips and chains. Maybe telling each other your utter most fantasies and fulfilling them. Trying to fit in quickies in each others lunch breaks. Doing it in strange and wonderful places with the thrill of maybe getting caught. Have you done it in everyplace in the house you can find or food strawberries and whipped cream , chocolate what ever takes your fancy. Why don't you do a little video of u and send it to him then he's not expecting it. Tease him a little.
