Question - (18 March 2010) 3 Answers - (Newest, 18 March 2010)
A female Canada age 41-50, anonymous writes:

So there's a guy who liked me.. Then after a year of not getting any prospective respond from me, he maintained to have a new relationship and now he's just got a girlfriend.

What i really don't understand is.. Whenever he saw me he seems sooo nervous and maybe afraid (just like wanted to hide from me). You know kinda avoiding eye contact, becoming stiff, acting nervous, and even avoiding me clearly!

Why should he act like that while he's got a girlfriend??? It feels sooo uncomfortable..

Thanks for any answers ^^

Is there any ADVICE how can i treat him properly for this situation? i'm afraid of breaking his heart..

Danielepew agony auntPerhaps he likes you, perhaps he doesn't. But, you don't like him, do you? So just act as you normally would.

It means he still likes you, and that he now finds it all a bit awkward because he has a girlfriend. Say nothing to him, and just maintain a friendly relationship that goes not further.

TimmD agony auntHe's acting like that because he still likes you. Even though he's got a girlfriend those feelings are still there. Does that mean he doesn't like his girlfriend? No. There's really nothing you can do about it, he just has to work it out on his own. But whatever you do, don't lead him on like you may have any kind of feelings for him. That'll just make it harder for him.
