 I would...subtly tell her how you feel first and see what her response is like.. If serious and positive then go for it...
..but buy a ring first.

You must talk to her first so you know how she feels. Imagine if you ask her and she says no. Take it slow, talk to her, really get to know her and let her get to know, then if you're both sure that you love each other, propose. But get to know her first.
