Hi, so I recently broke up with my boyfriend, and we were really in love but there were just reasons that it couldn't continue. I have been hanging out with my other ex a lot lately, almost every day. He has told me that he really likes me again. I am starting to like him too and have almost kissed him several times. When I think about him...I get butterflies. But, he is the ex-best friend of the other guy and whenever I mention him to my friends, they are all like 'ew' and well don't really approve. Should I go for it even though most other people do NOT like him?

mrg123 agony auntI think the right thing here is to do what feels right for you. Dont they approve because he has a connection with the other guy??? Why are they like this?? Regardless, part of growing up is standing on your own two feet and I think this maybe your time to do this, on this issue. I understand your friends matter and their opinions should matter, and you should *listen* but this is different from letting them run your life. True friends give their opinion and support a person regardless of what they think about something, regardless of the course they take. Those that truly care about you will stick with you regardless.

Go with what you feel to be right. Good luck and take care.
