Cateyes agony auntIf you have the money, I would say great, HOWEVER, I wouldn't do anything until you have done all you can do to transform your body to the best you can. That takes alot of control and determination in doing it. Remember, even getting surgery, you can go back to how you were because you have to have a committment in how you handle your day to day living and eating habits. Drink 10 glasses of water a day, work out using light weights, do floor exercises for your stomach. Switch every other day from legs to arms, but each day do different exercises that target your stomach. Eat properly each day, take a multivitamin each day and you will be not only amazed what this will do for you, but how you will feel. Get a trainer if you can afford for one month to get you going so he or she can assist you in your target areas or purchase a SHAPE magazine, or go to the Internet for different exercises. I don't know your genetics either, but for some people, this is something they will have to do 3-4 times a week just to stay at the "new" shape they are in. There is no magic nothing in this world. YOU CAN DO IT...wake up strong, wake up with a good attitude and tell yourself every day today is a new day for me and a new look. Good luck...and one more thing, pray everyday...God does listen to our heart.

"What we gain to easily we esteem to lightly."

Personally, I'm afraid of those operations things. There's plenty of natural way to do it. "Where there's a will there's a way."

Besides, I don't think that the "easy way out" is going to do you any good. We are creatures of habits, even by eating less you can still gain weight.

If you do this the hard way, you'll accomplish what not a lot of people have the dedication to do and you'll also create habits that will help you stay where you want to be.

I'm telling you, if you loose weight naturally you'll feel 10 times better about yourself than any operations will ever do. All you have to do is believe in yourself, you need to surround yourself with people who have the same goal than you and people who already achieved your goals so that you can ask them how they did it.

"When the going get tough, the tough get going."

Well you could, but its risky and expensive. Besides it dosent sound like your short of attention!

Get down to the gym, do exercises that specifically target the stomach, crunches, abdominal trainers etc. If its possible get a coach who will be able to advise you on what you need to do and will give you a plan.

Good luck

A Cappella agony auntIf you have the money and don't want to spend it on something else, I don't see why not. Talk to your doctor first (not the plastic surgeon, your GP). Make sure there are no health risks or problems that this can cause later. Good luck.

A female reader, superbunny United Kingdom +, writes (27 May 2008):

superbunny agony auntIt's more complicated than a straight forward yes or no. Have you always been bigger? Or have you put it on in your twenties? If so you need to address the reason of why you have put on the weight. There may be more psychological reasons that need to be tackled before you get a tummy tuck.

I think only you know if you should truely get one, I don't think strangers on the internet can really help you sweetie. Best Wishes. x
