Hello, Ooh I do sympathize. A week is a long while to not be in contact seeing as you had just made promises together. You have every right to feel disappointed with him. Firstly, Is he OK? Is there a way you could scramble your number and call him to see if he answers then hang up immediately. At least you woud know he is ok and not hurt. it's very odd he hasn't been in contact as trust was established, he wanted you first, and he suggested a commitment. The only thing you can do at the moment is to wait for him to contact you. (do see if he answers the anon call though) In this situation, you are right to feel hurt, upset and disrespected because simply being out of contact for a week is very poor behaviour after promising things and sleeping with someone. You have my thoughts. Shame on him. Hannah xx

Hello,
Let me re-cap on this as there sounds as if there is confusion....you were seeing a guy for a few months. He asked, if possible to become bf and gf. He wanted this, you agreed. Both wanted this.
Now he hasn't been in contact for a week.
Have I read this right? Have you shared a bed? Made love? booked any thing for the future?
Thanks, Hannah

New answer:
I don't understand, that is weird. Could it be he is a little frightened by the new commitment? If you have gone a whole week without hearing from him, you have the right to try and contact him again...your time has been invested in this as well as his! I would demand an explanation (or maybe politely request)
I wish I had a better answer for you...I can imagine how you are feeling right now. People should not get away with playing with our emotions that way!
My heart goes out to you, and I wish you the best!

hi, You had me confused by your initial post, which you only made clearer in your second entry.does 'making it official' mean having sex by any chance? Did he understand what you were trying to say or have you left him confused as well? Bas

The thing is...we want to believe those lies so much! All we want is to be loved, and feel connected to another!
He could perhaps be hurt by your refusal to take it to another level...but my gut tells me, he just gave up because he didn't get what he wanted!
That is so painful, I know, but look at it this way...atleast you stood your ground and did not give in...the result may have been the same either way!
I wish you luck!
