writes: Hello everyone!I am on the first cycle of Yaz which is a combination pill, and yesterday my boyfriend and I had sex for the first time and we used a condom. I am a perfect user - never missed a pill, so we had that extra bit of back up just in case. The only thing is that the condom fell off at some point during the hustle and bustle of it all. He did not ejaculate inside of me but there was at least 5 minutes of no-condom sex before we realized the condom was gone. I am worried that I might be pregnant, even though I am on the pill. The good news is I will know soon enough since I am on the placebo week of the pills and yesterday (the day we had sex) was the last day of my active pill. (Yaz only has 4 placebo pills). So can I get pregnant from precum while on a combination pill? Or am I worrying about nothing? Thank you!- A Chronic Worrier

I think you're in good shape, I take Yaz too and have no problems with it. When you get a new package of pills, sit down and read the booklet that comes with it. When you had sex, you were probably past ovulation. You should have your period by the third blank pill. Just keep taking your pills like you are=)

The pill is about 99% effective, condoms are about 97%. Both of them together are very efficient. And if one does fail, chances are the other won't. I'm positive you're over worrying.

It's a possibility but with how you always remember your pills, I wouldn't worry too much. I would say it's a slim to none chance. Don't worry because I really doubt it! :)

You are worring about nothing. Continue to be a perfect birth control pill user and you should have nothing to be concerned about.
