Most people would probably wonder why an 18 year old would want anything to do with a 15 year old. Im not a pedophile or a creep, and I have no problem getting girls my own age. But honestly this girl is more mature than any of the 18 year old girls Ive dated. In fact when I first met her I had thought she was at least 18 by how mature she ws. Is this wrong for me to have feelings for someone whos only 15? Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (9 July 2009): please take no notice of anyone who says it is wrong age is just a number. if you like her then try her. as for the law my personal opinion is forget the law. it isnt right for some 'law' to tell people what they can or cant do with thier own bodies.

 Hey i understand. Some are just more mature. Go for it but dnt let things go too far because i would hate to see you in troble. So if u take her out aviod things getting to intimate. There for stay clear where temtation could take over.

It's not wrong to have feelings for her. I am always one to say age is just a number. If she is interested and you are interested then i say go for it.
but wait until shes 16 to have sex with her - because if you guys ever break up or her parents find out, her parents can charge you.
theres nothing wrong with being in a relationship with her though, in my opinion.

 You can't control your feelings. But you can control your actions, and my guess is that's what you're really struggling with. Technically, legally, she is a minor. And having inappropriate contact with a minor can land you in a lot of trouble, with a record as a sex offender if things get out of hand.
So continue to get to know her, by all means, as a friend. When you're both older and hopefully know each other well, then your romance will be something to look forward to!

reader, anonymous, writes (9 July 2009): Being that she is fifteen and you are eighteen, it is inappropriate and it could land you in a whole lot of trouble if you have anything to do with her besides a platonic relationship. I know that in some states, the consented age is seventeen but otherwise, you should hold off the extra three years. If it's meant to be, you'll either wait for each other or somehow come back to each other. Good luck! =]
