But it seems sinse then she has started to change into this other person. she is less emotional and less touchy , lovey kind of thing but of course she suffers from winter depression. she says thats it. but still no change. It is a fairly common disorder from which my mum suffers. As AskEve suggests, a light box is really helpfull... but they can be expensive. If you take her for walks durin the day, and expose her to as much bright light as you can, she should start to recover. Has she spoken to her GP about this? The most important thing you can do at the moment is support her... it is not easy! Imagen feeling awfull at the sam time every year, just due to lack of sun light!Let you gf know you will be there for her.all the bestxxx

A lot of people suffer from this. The proper term for it is Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). What she needs is to get a very bright light and sit in this light between 15 and 45 minutes a day. This should alleviate her depression. See the link below for a lot more information about SAD.
