I had to check your age twice, I thought this was a question from a 13year old... "my friend called me a bad name, and won't get a tattoo with the rest of us girls.. Do you think I should stop talking to her"... Grow up, your a bloody grown woman in your 30's. School time is finished, go and do what you want to do, you don't need to ask people's permission. Susan isn't being nasty, she's being a good friend and telling you the truth.

she's being smart and respecting herself, maybe you should think about doing the same? Ask yourself: Am I really this desperate? Why am doing this? When it's my time to die will I be proud of myself? Will I regret this later? ect ect, then make your desicion to stay friends with her or not.

It looks like she has taken that decision out your hands. Hardly surprising, I expect she would like some friends that actually act their age. For 36, you ARE acting like a dimwit!

That's what children do in the playground. 'Susan didn't want to go on the swings with me so she's not my friend anymore.' At your age I'd think you would be a bit more mature than that. If there's more to it that tattoos and getting laid - if you two have other problems then maybe it's understandable. But dumping your best friend over this is a bit petty.

Susan respects her body, so should you. Understand that, of course you shold remain friends with her how she chooses to treat her body shouldnt effect your friendship.
