Is her method causing her pain in her neck/shoulder or numbness in her fingers or forearms? If so, she could be overusing the muscles and damaging the soft tissue in her joints...essentially, she could be developing a repetetive stress injury from masturbating. This is something i've had a problem with in the past.
The only way to prevent the muscle pain is to make sure she is very turned on before she begins to masturbate so orgasm is achieved quickly. Or maybe she could try the shower head trick so she doesn't have to rub herself.
