Question - (11 April 2014) 6 Answers - (Newest, 11 April 2014)
A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend got me a solid rose gold bangle for my birthday. It's simple, thin band that's beautiful. It's exactly my style. Only problem is that I have tiny wrists and big hands and it sits a little uncomfortable on my arm. Rubs against my wrist bones. Now he has insisted that I can change it but I wouldn't want to hurt his feelings. And he picked it out himself... That means a lot to me! But I would live to be able to wear it everyday and be comfortable... Should I suck it up and not say anything? Or will I change it?

Have it altered by a jeweller? Then you're keeping what he chose and making it fit better - had to have that done for my engagement ring.

Tisha-1 agony auntPick something else out in the rose gold color and be thankful you have a kind and generous boyfriend. Wear the new item with a big smile and enjoy it.

Would your feelings be hurt if you gave him a watch that didn't fit his wrist and he wanted to exchange it for something that did fit?

xTheAlmightyDuckx agony auntHe has told you to change it, so there is no problem there :) Go ahead and change it, you won't hurt his feelings I promise you.

Also are you planning to change it, so its the same bracelet just a different style? Therefore its still practically the same gift just in a different size x
