I agree with female anon. A lot of women, young or old, aren't able to be 'swept off their feet' by a poetic man. I admit it is sweet though. It all depends on the type of little miss you're involved with. If she's very emotional and loves poetry and sad love songs and such then you will be taking the right approach. I know your 13-15 but just keep in mind for when you're much older that being romantic is the most important quality a husband can have so don't be afraid to be a mushy, so to speak. Anyways if you are dating someone who loves that sort of aspect in a relationship then perhaps try angel by the jones gang, anything by celine dion or leona lewis, or if you can, play this love by angel aki (japanese).

Men seem to think that women all want poetry, mushy romantic songs, serenades, flowers and to gaze into each other's eyes under the stars. This is absolutely not true. In fact I don't know any women, young or old, who were or are into that.

Check out Micheal Buble or Bon Iver. While they are excruciatingly soppy and horrible, women seem to love them and best of all girls your age are into them. Basically OP whatever the girl you likes taste in music is, is pretty much the best choice.
When I was your age making mix tapes and stuff I dated rock chicks so love songs would have been a no-no, what worked for me was songs they really liked, songs they already have an emotional attachment to.

Selena Gomez - the way I loved you
Josh Golden - my hand is yours to hold
Chase Coy - if the moon fell down / never change
Jake Coco - the best love song I ever wrote
