Scott,
I think Ivan really cleared that up. Some invasion of pubic hair up the shaft is nothing to worry about. Like Ivan said just natural variation.
In any case I wouldn't try any type of hair removal because they all have a stubble stage and nothing is going to be more uncomfortable than stubble there. Ouch.

My bf has a few coarse hairs on the base of his penis ... I find it kind of alluring. I also find the smell of his penis very, very attractive, it turns me on every time. Someone had previously posted that hairs can release pheramones to attract partners ... if thats the case then its definitely working.
Its nothing to worry about sweetie!
Best of luck to ya,

FA is quite clear - the fine hairs will be pretty well invisible, so for all intents and purposes are not there: coarse pubic hairs will not be.
Unless in your case, as you say, you have some towards the base. It doesn't mean you are odd, just part of nature's variation. Usually, pubic hair is there to cushion certain actions and/or to collect and intensify intimate smells (pheromones) in order to attract partners.
Give your penis some serious action and they will likely disappear!
Ivan.

But ur answer isnt clear to me. U said " the shaft of the penis may have the fine hair" then u said " doesnt normally grow on the shaft of the penis"
They r so conflicting to each other.
Hair grows on 1/3 of my penis ( from the base )

You are male and over 21. If it hasn't grown there it isn't going to.
No, seriously this is a strange question. We are mammals most of our bodies are covered with fine hair. The shaft of the penis may have fine hair as well but not that you would notice it. Coarse pubic hair, such as grows in your arm pits, beard, and of course at the base of the penis, does not normally grow on the shaft of the penis.
As you get older hair does tend to grow in some pretty strange places. Your back, ears, and nose are notable. Unfortunately, not on your head.
Now if this question happens to have a personal application, rather than curiosity or fear of the future, you should probably take it up with a Doctor. They are the experts and have likely seen it all.
