reader, anonymous, writes (23 December 2006): heya, listen if you want to get rid of ur pubic hair then i think it would be wise to have a tlk with your mum about it. i can't see why she would be mad with you but i'd still check. i was shaving n when my mom found out she wasnt angryshe just pointed out that shaving was the worst possible thing you could do. i'm 15 n i had me first bikini wax a couple of months ago for a holiday. it was quite painful but really worth it. if you keep getting one every 6-8 weeks or so then the root will start 2 die (sounds manky i no) but after a couple of years or so the roots will die. my mom was fine with me getting it done and if you go 2 a proffessional salon then they're really nice 2. hope this helps, if u get sum money 4 xmas then maybe u might think bout gettin a wax xxxxxxxxxxxxx

To clarify, having less pubic hair can also make that area cleaner and easier to clean. Easiest route to go would be to trim it with scissors or a motorized razor/shaver.
