Pretty good tips from the OP. It's very important to know how close you are. One of my partners is on the wrong side of fifty and he uses this technique very well - when he knows he's close, he changes position, the break clams him down a bit and he's ready to go again.
I myself have been doing yoga for a while, so I have breathing techniques down pat. Have had a few premature incidents, but thankfully since I can usually go again immediately after I ejaculate so it's not that big a problem even when it does happen.

One more tip. YOu can always use ice cubes and when you feel your man is about to get close you can put one in your mouth and rub it along hs balls and it will cool him down but will still keep him in the mood. Trust me I know first hand several different experiences but, if you do not have ice on hand then squeezing the head for a couple of seconds does work.Or even sometimes you can switch your position or even your technique all of which will help

There is also the stop and go method. What you said about keeping in mind your arousal level; that comes into play here aswell. Pay attention to how aroused you are then stop for 10 seconds or however many you need to gain back control then continue. Ofcourse nobody really wants to stop; but this method works for those who need the help.Another way; this goes to you ladies. When you sense your man is about to rocket off to space; if he is okay with it squeeze the head of his penis. The thought of it makes me cringe; but some men actually prefer this because when he's getting close and you squeeze there is no way he's jumping the lift off timer. Another way is to pull on his testicles; pull down and ofcourse not OFF! lol.Ofcourse there are the PC muscle excersises; easy to do at any time of the day; even in mixed company because you can do this dressed. How convenient lol. The PC muscles are what you use when you urinate; when you are holding it or getting rid of the extra what have you. Do this atleast 5 times a day; flex those muscles for 3 seconds at a time in sets of 5. Do this every day and it will help you control the urge to ejaculate. Another plus side is it will increase the strength in your ejaculation when it does happen. I don't think ladies would complain :)
