He does pay all the bills for us but he smokes weed and owes a lot of money out. I'm so worried now because i have just read that it's most important to eat healthy with in the first 3 months. My boyfriend can see I'm bit worried about eating healthy food and said he will support me fully.I haven't been able to take anything like folic acid or other vitamins. We don't eat healthy, we never eat fruit or veg ever. I'm not really getting anything of what i need (we eat a lot of cheap full of grease food because it's cheap). The worst thing is my boyfriend always buys economy food because that's all he can afford but I'm so scared that are just developing baby is not getting it's needs met.SO SAD about all this

Hello, talk to your midwife because she maybe able to help you secure vitamins while pregnant (ask about healthystart). As for folic acid, it is about £1 a pot from superdrug or boots...and very important for foetal development! Depending on when you quit your last job you maybe entitled to maternity allowance for some time during your pregnancy, or you can be assessed for incapacity benefit during the later stages of pregnancy. The Citizens advice bureau maybe able to advise you or call in the local jobcentre for advice. There is a good website called entitledto.co.uk. Run your financial details through there and you will see if you can get anything. When the baby comes along you can claim child benefit as well as child tax credit which you can elect to have go into your bank account.

Head down to to the Citizens Advice Beaureau.
I am sure you must be entitled to something.
Either that or are there no shop jobs of waitress jobs or ANYTHING that will get you a bit of cash coming in.
All I can suggest is that you go shopping with your boyfriend. Lidl and Aldi have lots of very cheap fruit and veg and multi-vitamins.
Plus, tell him that as you have a child on the way, he needs to stop doing drugs, pay off his debts to people and be a man rather than acting like a 14 yearold off Trisha.
Good Luck!! xx

you can get prenatal vitamins over the counter, like no prescription needed. there not super expensive. but it will ensure you have the right beginning to your baby's growth. for the eating, i didn't know i was pregnant until l i was three month , and i ate normal, hes 9 months old and healthy and happy

I mean, you can work the system.. ohhh nevermind. Im thinking america here. My mistake.Well then.. Weed is expensive. Ask him to leave off on weed for at least a while so he can buy better food for you and the developing baby. If he is truly supportive, he will do it.
