writes:Omg I need help soooo bad. I'm 14. My boyfriend is 16. I had sex with him February 14th (Valentine's Day) but here is the twist, I think I'm pregnant! Around February 26th I had a very light period (that was brown) sooooo... then my boobs have really sharp pains in them all the time and I'm always having a headache. My stomach gets slight pains and I'm always hungry. My face broke out also. I'm sooooo confused and I really need help. We talked about it and he's willing to help me but I'm just not sure. When I have this kid I'm going to be 15 and he's going to be 17. I'm sooooo scared someone write back. Am I pregnant???

reader, anonymous, writes (5 September 2007): Keep an open mind. Even if you are pregnant, pregnancy doesn't always equal a baby. You have options, explore them. I know some people are against abortion, but if it's something you're ok with, go for it. You're too young to try to raise a child and it's not worth throwing your life away. You can always have children later in life; there's no rush.

reader, anonymous, writes (18 March 2007): hmm as said before.. don't worry yourself until you know for sure. take a test and see. if its possive then you have to go and see the doctor. and im afaid to say, but you have to tell your mum. she'll help you. if you scared then tell someone who is older and you trust like an auntie. goodluck and god bless you

It sounds like a possibility. But think to yourself - did you use contraception? Buy a home pregnancy test - or if you look young get him to get one for you. Take it, and if it comes up positive you will have to go and see a doctor or visit a clinic - do you have clinics in america. Try to go to a national sexual health clinic as they should be open minded about how to deal with the baby if it comes to that. If you can tell your parents - or his, in situations like this you really do need someone older and responsible enough to help you.

reader, anonymous, writes (18 March 2007): well, I am also 14 years old. It sounds like you are preg..BUT heres the thing...I thought the weirdest thing one time, I didnt get my period for 3 months! But i hadnt even had sex! I thought that maby somthing DID happen and I just didnt rememer, maby it was rape or somthing lol...but then my period came along about a month afterwards and I ws soooo happy! Even those are the signs of pregnacy, the only way that you can really find out if you are is if you take a est..those dont work as good though,they tend to lie, so you should really get to a doctor and get checked out =) Love to help you out, Naia

Well you are going to have to take a pregnancy test to know for sure. but if you had ur period then i dont think you are. but i would really take a test or go to a clinic to find out for sure
