Me and my fiance havent set a date yet but me being typical female means i'm already looking for dresses. I was thinking something modern and funky. We don't want a conventional wedding so no white and none of the usual cliches but we still want it to be extra special because it's a day for us and about our love for each other. Help me decide!!! I'm thinking corsets - red and blac! Lots of pretty things! This corset in red and black satin instead of the pink and black in this picturehttp://fairygothmother.co.uk/newimages3/large/70-m2520_78l.jpgOr this onehttp://fairygothmother.co.uk/newimages3/large/v1808redl.jpgor this in red satinhttp://fairygothmother.co.uk/70-m24_04u.htmIt's a choice of those three but I can't choose and I want it to look as stylish as possible. And I'm not sure whether I want a long fitted skirt or if a classic skirt like this would be betterhttp://fairygothmother.co.uk/newimages2/62-14c.jpgIt's a petticoat but I quite like it as a skirt but I'm not sure if my selections will go. What do you think?Critism is healthy and makes me look better on the day so go for it!!! :)

They are all beautiful but I think you should go to the store that sells them or sells something similar and try them on. I think then you will know which one because after seeing it on your body and not the model that got fitted for it you will decide if you like what it does for your body.Everyone says this but I think its true: When you put on the right thing you will know.Good luck finding a dress and I wish you a lifetime of happiness with your future husband.

I like the idea of the first corset in red and black with the last skirt, the petticoat but I also think the purple outfit is stunning and very sexy. Also the last one that superrrshawna suggested is a good mix of what you want and a more traditional wedding dress. x

I agree with Diovan, the purple one is absolutely stunning (or it might be because purple is my favorite color)
I'd say buy that one and the big petticote and you'll have an incredible dress!

i think the first is the cutest, but it might be too much like lingerie? also, i think that a fitted skirt would look a lot more fashion forward versus the classic skirt you linked. a corset, a fitted skirt [maybe short if you feel daring], and some killer heels could do the trick.
be careful, though. when i think of corsets and long, full skirts, especially in that style, i think of renaissance fairs:

i'm not sure if that is the style you are going for... personally, i wouldn't wear that for my wedding. i love dressing up like that for renfair but i'm not sure it's dressy enough for a wedding.
you could try the corset-style wedding dresses in maybe an unusual color?
