Yesterday I took my pill at about 9.30am, and this morning I missed my pill and I only just took it (it's 8.30pm now,) so I'm only 11 hours late from yesterday's time, but 13.5 hours later than my weekday time. On some websites it says that I am still fully protected if I only miss one pill. I'm on the Cilest combined pill. I'm confused, am I still protected, or will I need to use a condom for the next week?

you seem forgetful....you should stay protected for a week or so.but maybe you should get a different form of contraception... I got the implant....lasts 3 years. hurts when it goes in and you'll have a massive bruise for 2 weeks but then you have 3 years of no worry sex

It would be best to use alternate protection for for the next few days or the whole week just to be safe. Technically you would still be protected. One thing is that if you ever miss a pill by a whole day you can no longer take that pill. You would have to wait till the next day to take the proper one and then it's definitely recommended to be cafeful for the next week. I mean even as a guy I would rather wear the condom than worry about the risks. It's up to you to tell your guy that you were late on the pill and I'm sure he'll understand.
