writes:I'm 13 and never had a boyfriend. All my friends have had atleast one and everyone says I'm not ugly and I'm interesting to talk to but no boy has seem to have any interest in me!! Is there something wrong with me??!!?? Help!!

There's nothing wrong with you. infact its good you dont have one now . they are just extra work and tension tbh LOL - wait till you get a bit older :)

reader, anonymous, writes (1 May 2011): there is nothing wrong with you!you are still young and have plenty of time for all that.I am nearly 21 and haven't had a proper relationship, as I tend to concentrate on my education rather than guys.Everyone says stop looking and they will come to you.... it does happen trust me and when it does you will be glad you waited, Guys my age tend to seem nice but actually aren't so i am waiting for my degree to be over to even come close to giving them a chance :) Good Luck :)

you are far too young to be worrying about boyfriends! Your friends idea of a boyfriend has probably been a school lad who they meet down the shops and therefore call them their boyfriends. Trust me at that age you have no idea about relationships. Enjoy going out with your friends and being a kid. You have so many years ahead of you to enjoy being with a boy. Don't rush! I never had a boyfriend untill i was 17. At 13 you are not emotionally ready for a relationship, you are still finding yourself and learning about life. Enjoy your childhood.

 You are still so young and trust me when I say that one day you will be glad that you never dated this early. It might seem strange and you might be tempted to disagree but a real relationship is definitely worth the wait. At this age, you won't have a relationship that will last so what is the point? I don't say that out of a lack of faith in love at an early age, I say that because girls and boys at 13 are erratic and unstable emotionally, always changing and shifting in tastes and thoughts, there will always be heartache and breakups and unnecessary drama that will only serve to near-ruin your school life for you. Just wait until you are more mature, until you have grown and then you will see. Later on in life, you'll see how wrong you were in thinking there was something wrong with you.I hope that helps.

 Hiyaaaa,Firstly there is nothing wrong with being single!You may feel a little pressure because your friends had boyfriends and all that sometimes can't help feel a tiny bit jealous because of all the sweet text, dates and all that lovey dovey thing.Your only 13!!!!!!!!!! There's nothing wrong with you! The pressure on young girls to have boyfriends almost before high school is so out of place. I had my first boyfriend at 15 and have regretted giving in to the pressure ever since. My suggestion is seriously to keep your friends as friends, because as soon as you put more into it you risk losing a valuable friendship. Let yourself enjoy the life of a single. Until you find the right person for you single life is waaaaaaay more fun!!
