I'm on birth control pills, and on anxiety medication so I'm wondering if that could be causing it but honestly I'd really like to begin having sex with him again, I mean, we did just get married. I just don't get turned on even when we've tried, like I've lost my sex drive completely. Advice??

It's the anxiety medication. Stuff like Celexa, the benzodiazapines like Ativan, Valium, or Xanax, Zoloft, and all of that stuff have "sexual side effects". In short, they sap out a sex drive.
Go to your doctor who's prescribing this stuff to you and explain the libido loss and see if they are willing to prescribe something to help restore it.

Question...What turned you on before? What was your sex life like before you met your now husband?

You need to speak to the doctors. Birth control pills can very much affect your libido.
It's perfectly normal to discuss this with your doctor btw.
In fact, my gyn every year at my check up asks if I have a drive and if I'm active (I'm married)because it's part of life.
Do not be ashamed to ask the doctors for help on this. they can switch your BCP to something else and maybe your anxiety meds can be changed as well.

I think anxiety pills do affect one's libido in certain ways.. Not having sex in months I think its a long time and you really need to speak to your doctor.. You need to revive your sex life. A few trial and error shouldn't make you wanna keep trying..

I am not sure about birth pills, but as for anxiety meds, a very common side effect is that they lower your sex drive . Not all the same meds in the same dosage to the same people, it may take a bit of patience and trial-and-error to find the right med for you at the righ dosage which keeps your anxiety under control without totally zapping your libido. But, that's what doctors are for - go back to yours, describe him your symptoms and ask him what " custom-made " alternatives he can suggest .
