I'm upset at myself for not trusting my instincts and falling for an a**faced jerk. Now I'm trying to maintain my dignity and my sense of self and am finding it very hard to do because I'm a hopeless romantic. Ladies and gentlemen out there, what makes a person classy? what do you respect about the opposite (or the same!) sex? What are some steps to being a modern Elizabeth? So you are wanting a Mr Darcy, or have you got a Rev. Collins? Do you want a Darcy? I don't understand, to be Elizabeth you need to learn piano and live a life of leisure.

I always think the classiest of women know when to keep their silence, deal privately with their grief and are never beholden to anyone. A classy woman is never a doormat, recognises when she is being treated badly and always protects herself from jerks without resorting to being a bitch!

I'd have to say the one thing that makes me think someone is classy is them being reserved socially, having very good posture! And being clean cut and neat with their appearance.
However whilst going on literature I wouldn't try be someone your not like The Great Gatsby!!
