My wife is having an affair! She wants to work things out but stay friends with him?

My wife of 12 years has recently started having an affair with a freind of hers who is 10 years her Jr. He met her while she was working she runs Karaoke. at first she denied anything was going on but after ac couple of weeks she admitted it. She says she has feelings for him and that she also still loves me and is comflicted. She also said that I am smothering her since I found out. Since we've talked and I am trying to back off some and give her some space. She says she wants to work things out with me but wants to keep her friendship with him. I don't know if she is just playing me or what. Please give me some advice.
