writes: I am fifteen an my voice is really high pitched, i cant talk very loudly or shout and i think people find it hard to understand me, I really want to know when my voice is going to break and if I should be worried as it is so high pitched. It the most embarrassing part of my life, people call me names because of it, and even tr teachers at school think I'm strange because of it. Just want some advice about it. reader, anonymous, writes (10 May 2012): Work on PROJECTING your voice and DON'T keep on thinking it's anything to be ashamed of/worried about. With luck it will break soon, but even that doesn't guarantee that it's ever going to sound as 'deep' as you might hope. It's what you say that's important, and anyone who judges you unfavourably purely on the basis of the way you talk is an idiot.
Most of all, ignore the people who call you names. You're better than them.

It should happen within a year of so although I can't say for sure. Guys have a huge range of all of puberty which sucks for us guys. Just try and be as patient as possible and it will all work itself out.
You aren't the only one out there where this sort of thing happens to but you most likely won't have to wait too much longer.
