One of the listed symptoms of PCOS (Polycycstic Ovary Syndrome) is having a irregular menstrual cycle. However, since you're still so young this could just be attributed to puberty and therefore not necessarily cause for alarm. That said, getting yourself checked out just incase is always a good idea.

Is NOT normal, you should go immediately to a GYN doctor. You might have PCOS. I suffer from that since I first got my period and now is that I finally know what I have. PCOS can lead to serious disease so don't sleep on it. I been trying to get pregnant and can't have babies. I discover it sort of late. Good luck!

You might want to check with your doctor to see if there are no underlying hormonal problems but if they have always been irregular then im sure theres nothing wrong. If its bothering you then the pill is an easy option.

Well, I guess I can´t be objective because mine have never been regular either before I went on the pill. I used to have two months separating them, then suddenly 3 weeks. So I´m definitely familiar with what you´re describing. The pill solved it for me. If you don´t like being on the pill all the time, you can try for a couple of months and then try going without them again. That´s what worked for me.
