some people are prone to heavy painful periods---im one of them too! its horrible! you feel like death for the length of your period and you know that its just guna come around again! what i did was went to the GP and discussed with them about my heavy periods--they put me on the pill---not for contraceptive purposes but solely for the purpose of reducing the pain and heavyness! they tried me on 5 different pills until they found one that worked for me but it was worth the wait! ive been on the pill for almost 2 years and my life has improved so much! before i would faint and vomit at every period which lasted 7 days! now-my periods last 2 days, they are very light and i have very little pain! obviously there are sideaffects to the pill and you would need to discuss this with the gp and see what they would suggest!good luck darlin', i know what its like and i hope it improves for you! xxx

Hi hun!
Please go to the doctor for an examination!
There could be number of reasons why this is happening. Is it normal...well tha depends on a number of things, but only a doctor can give you the best medical advice. A Gyno would be best, but a GP might be just as helpful.
Also, do your period last 10 days every cycle? Are you cycles regular? How long have you been menstrating for?
Feel free to message me if you have any questions!
