You should be happy that she tries to remember it when you're not around. She thinks about you. Lucky!

tallbloke is verified as being by the original poster of the questionI do wonder if she's trying to make me insecure sometimes. I don't know why though. She's always trying to wind me up. I wind her up too though, but it's always obvious.
I do see her quite a lot, usually mid week and then all weekend, most weekends.
There is a bloke she has as a friend & I suspect that she's had feelings for him in the past, might still do. You can tell if someone likes someone because they're different with them over other people. He's quite obviously not interested, but some people never give up do they!
I have to say, I don't like it one bit, but what can I do about it?
Last Saturday, she was staring over at him as he was dancing with a load of women. I'd had a lot to drink & I said 'you do know that he would only hurt you'. she didn't say anything, didn't try to defend herself. Yet earlier she was getting insecure thinking that I was playing games with her and wondered if I was really interested in her and I spent time telling her that I did want to be with her.
I should add that she's not a bitch, quite the opposite. She doesn't like hurting people. She's also very polite and quite thoughtful and affectionate.

reader, anonymous, writes (16 February 2007): Actually- I cant recall AT ALL who the guy I like sooo much even looks like- I can easilyy recall my friends- people Ive seen around.. but when it comes to trying to remember what someon elooks like who I stare at alot- its really difficult and I dont know why that is... Itsa mental thing.. But no- take that as a compliment if she cant remember what you look like- it means shes gaga for you!

To be honest i cant always remember what people look like edzactly when i havnt seen them for a couple of days. When i go on holidays, for like two weeks, i cant always conjour up an edzact image of my boyfriend in my head. Does your brother have more distinctive features than you do. When i say distinctive i mean, a bigger nose or a funny shaped chin. Well, you could pass this off as one of them strange and weird things we all get. But, i would also take into consideration why she even said it in the first place. Just ask her what it ment, you dont want to go out with a girl who has a secret crush on your brother. These things do happen.

Im just trying to draw a picture here of why she would say this. Maybe its to cause you feelings of jelousy. To say that she can't remember what you look like, but can remember your brothers look like is an odd thing to say.
If she can remember your brothers, she can certainly recal you.

Is she like this with everyone or just you? If it's just you then it's weird but I would try not to be upset by it. I'm sure it doesn't mean anything about you.

i say that all the time to my boyfriend just because i know it will get under his skin. She can remember, she just wants to hint at you that she needs to see you more so she doesnt have to "forget" your face. You get it? If you get sensitive about it, then she proved her point.
