Question - (30 January 2009) 3 Answers - (Newest, 6 February 2009)
A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Me and my girlfriend have been going out for a year and a half and I really love her and she loved me too... But last night I knew something was up, so I asked her. It took a while for her to tell me, but I told here I was here for her. She said I seem more like her best friend then her boyfriend now because she never hangs out with any other girls any more, just me. She said she doesn't want to feel like that. She said she wants to love me as a boyfriend again. What do I do?

Time to spend some real time together. typing words will never replace the human touch and true words form you own mouth. i have meet someone on line as well. everything was great but our relationship wasn't going anywhere until me meet and really fell in love. just a touch can make a differents then any black little letters can ever do.

TasteofIndia agony auntI feel your girlfriend. I've been there. A relationship, especially a young one, needs some sort of mystery to it. She needs to get out and have her own space so that she can feel excited about seeing you and get that chemistry back. It's important that she go out with her girlfriends and have fun on the town - it's important for you to connect with your guy friends and act like a monkey. That space gives you guys room to appreciate each other more.

You guys need to reignite the spark. When you DO see her, bring her a single flower and kiss her like you mean it. These are little things that will help your relationship get back to "boyfriend" land rather than "buddy" status. Surprise her by taking her to the zoo. Spontaneity, fun stuff like that, it works!

I wish you the best of luck and hope your relationship gets back on track!
