Time to get a job honey and not expect to receive hand out from the parents. Now is the time you start helping your parents out by offering to take on a household bill or paying for some of the groceries while you are living with them.
Also, remember this, if he doesn't want to spend his hard earn money that he spent all day to earn in his office where you didn't want to help him then he doesn't have to because you are capable of earning your own cash.

At your age you should not expect to be getting handouts from your parents. You havent said why you dont wish to help with some office work. Your father is simply trying to teach you responsibity and that in life you cannot get on in life without working for a living. You are actually lucky that he has given you the easy option of working for him rather than having to look for a job yourself.

Have you ever heard of You'll scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.
It is what makes the world go around.
Give and take - give it a try.
Concerntrate on what you can give and not what you take so much and it may make you a nicer and warmer person too.

You're an adult now so maybe he is just trying to give you you're independance in a roundabout way, if you have a problem with it then like others have suggested go out and get a part time job and buy your own things.
Take care.xx.

Did he ask you for help? If he asked you for help and you said no, why are you surprised he won't give you money? What are the details here?
