writes: all my brothers friends will have there wives and girlfriends at his wedding so he would like me to be the same. but he said if i can't get one for saturday i can't come to his wedding. well it looks like i won't be going became i get one. i've tryed everything because i'm very shy i find it hard talking to women i get embarrassed very easily never knowing what to say. thank you every much for all help. please can you help me.

Wow, how shitty of him. Even if his intentions are good, which I think on some level they are, this is still a horrible thing to do to you. Have you told your parents what he said? Personally, I don't think I'd go. I probably wouldn't talk to him very much again either. My feeling would be that I obviously don't mean much to him if he doesn't want me at this wedding. I wonder what his bride to be thinks of this. I doubt she'd want to marry an ass who doesn't even want his brother at his wedding.

What sort of brother puts out that sort of condition? He probably isn't being serious. Either that, or he doesn't want you at his wedding and is trying to use this as a crutch to make sure that happens. I hope it's not the latter - it would be a very very sad thing.
