"I'll probably come around" = I'll come if I'm doing nothing else.
He's not totally brushing her off. He's playing it safe and keeping his distance at the moment. I don't know if he will come. But if he does, then there is more interest from him in this friend of yours. If he doesn't, then he's not interested.
