Friends are forever. This guy seems a) scummy - trying to pit you and your BFF against each other? He also seems b) completely not worth ruining a friendship over. Both of you should agree to find new fellas.

If the answer's your best friend, its probably best neither one of you go for this boy.
If the answer's the boy, then go for it, but risk losing your friend.
