He would turn hot and cold so I was too scared to ever tell him how I truly felt. As soon as I would show some interest in him, he would turn cold. Then I would natrually back off from that as I felt like he didnt like me anymore, but then he would suddenly turn hot and be all over me, calling me non stop etc. I dont understand why he is doing this. He does know my ex bf, although when we first started dating I didnt know that (if i did, i would of probably never dated him). So i am wondering if my ex has something to do with it. My ex (who broke up with me!) toyed with my emotins, sort of liek what this guy is doing. If i showed him how i truly felt he would be cold and distant, and if i acted cold and distant as a result of his behaviour, he would act all crazy about me and possesive. After he broke up with me I never contacted him and he never contacted me. We never even ran into each other at usual places we both go. Then as soon as i started seeing this new guy, my ex started turning up everywhere i go! Work, my favourite spots to go on the weekend, my usual shopping centre etc... Then as soon as this guy i was dating would turn cold and i wouldnt see or hear from him in a while, my ex would disapear again. then as soon as this guy came back, so did my ex. weird? coincidence? or something more?

I can see why you find this weird. Could be the second guy likes you but feel weird about it since you used to date his friend. Could also mean they are just the same kind of boring guys who like to play around with you.
I think you can do better than any of them. Maybe you should just ask him straight out what he thinks about you two, or leave him and look for someone better and less weird acting.
Good luck!
