problemmaganet agony auntIf she's really your best friend, she wouldn't be saying stuff like that. Talk to her, and tell her that this guy isn't worth ruining your friendship over. Guys will always be around, but having a good friendship, especially at this age, is WAY more important. Stay friends with the guy, but don't do anything to provoke your friend, like flirting with him in front of her. Girls should stick together! :)

LilPixie agony auntI can understand how you feel... but no! It's not going to solve anything. You 2 need to have a serious chat. Because it's not worth falling out with your friend over a boy!

A female reader, Neanthia United States +, writes (24 January 2010):

Neanthia agony auntI don't have much room to talk because I wanted to do exactly the same thing. I'm in a similar situation, what I plan to do is confront her. But before you do that I think you should ask yourself this, who's more important to you your friendship or the boy? My dad found me crying bout it and told me "Friendships are rare, boys are a dime a dozen" I plan to tell her she's more important than the boy, which to me she is, but if she is to you, that's your choice.
