Its very easy to love someone when you are not happy...sometimes that may not actually be "love" but just an escape from your unhappiness.

Cerberus_Raphael agony auntYes. You cannot control how you feel about something. For example you could love someone with all your heart even though they do not feel the same way, you would not be happy but that would not stop you from feeling the love that you would.

Love is benevolent. That does not mean it goes hand in hand with happiness. Love is usually a torment if it is not reciprocated. It takes two people to bring joy to love.
