A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Me and my boy friend were currently going to have sex we were at his house and alot of things happened that one thong led to another... Well he put on a condom and went to put it in and he wasnt hard or anything. He just said he was sorry but he wasnt hard enough to do it and left me there wanting him.... so my question is why would he suddenly not be hard anymore? Did i do something wrong? Is it normal?

The guy may have got last minute nerves, it has been known to happen. Also, he may have accidently did his business in his pants, again its known to happen. Maybe he's not ready to have sex with you. Just give him some time.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (21 January 2011):

When I was your age, I had no problem maintaining an erection, but I rarely felt comfortable enough to orgasm. Fast forward 20 years, and I sometimes have erection problems when stressed or nervous with a partner.

It is normal. It is anxiety or stress induced. Work on the relatioship and the sex will get better. keep the pressure to perform to a minimum. encourage him. lots of foreplay. Good to see he's using a condom. Maybe try thinner ones for more sensation.

Jmtmj agony auntIt can happen from time to time, its normal. Don't take it personally or think its your fault. Nervousness, stress, tiredness, too much pressure to perform or heaven forbid, he just wasn't in the mood for sex (with anybody!) to begin with... (yes, that can happen to guys :P)

Don't think for a second that he doesn't find you attractive or doesn't want to ravish you, because he does.
