writes:ok here we go...well im 17 and leaving school soon. i have been going out with a guy in my school since i was in grade 9.but recently i have noticed my feelings for him arent that strong anymore. When we kiss i dont feel anything-at all. And iv'e realised he has been acting like a jerk school ( Pushing people in seventh grade, starting arguments e.c.t) my mother and father seem to like him and everything, but i think i like someone else.Well, theres another guy. he has been my very very good friend since we was little kids, and i was sitting in bed thinking.. and i think i am in love with this boy :S but the thing is he is the biggest nerd in the school. If i went out with him seriously, i would get TERRORISED.Which one should i choose? Jerk.. or Nerd?Help! Reply to this Question

 Never the jerk. "Jerk" is pretty much always the wrong answer. The nerd is the better choice, because he'll treat you better and you actually enjoy spending time with him.
Who the hell cares if you get terrorized at school? You're 17 now, you're grown up. You make your own choices, and screw the superficial people that want to give you sass. Your real friends and family will be happy that you've found a positive relationship that you feel happy in. Follow your heart and happiness.

 If your leaving school soon, why will it matter?Everyone will go their different ways and you'll actually find (myself just left school) that everyone actually sort of opens up their individuality more.If you dont agree with the pushing around etc. of your current boyfriend, tell him.And really, only you can choose.But the way i see it (depending if this so called 'nerd' likes you too of course) is would you prefer someone who enjoys getting kicks from pushing people around and that you feel no attraction too (so why are you actually with him) or do you pick someone that you feel you have a connection with, know well and have deep feelings for?You've kinda answered it yourself, but don't be afraid of what everyone else thinks. Your friends and everyone around you should respect your decision of happiness.All the best and good luck.
