Ive started to get really strong feelings for a really close work colleague. We laugh and flirt with each other all the time, but I think the feelings are all one sided. He says he cares about me very much, and that he wouldnt want to hurt me, but Im hurting the most because I dont know how to explain to him how I feel. His usual type is a pretty skinny girl (his ideal woman is posh spice)!! How can I make him notice me without having to lose weight?

nologo agony auntEveryone in the world has inner feelings.

They are not easily shared with the rest.

Are you sure that his ideal of female is "model type girls"?

Or is it just the type he is most likely to have a crush on?

You should not answer these questions are for your thinking.

I suppose you wanna be "real girlfriend" for him, not ideal.

"how to explain to him how I feel" - you should talk to him.

sunrise agony auntHi, you dont have to make him notice you he already has! He obviously thinks a lot of you as a friend to be able to tell you he doesn't want to hurt you, and by telling you that, i think he may have realised that your feelings go a little deeper and if his doesn't he is trying to tell you without hurting you any more than he has to.

A persons ideal partner isn't always the same as the one they end up falling for, if you get on as well as you say you do just enjoy it and dont read too much into anything, if he wants to have anything more than a friendship with you i think he will tell you.

Please enjoy the friendship cause a friendship can last a lifetime, be happy. x
