DIE-romantic. agony auntThats nothing that exercise cant sort out. Do not go on an extreme diet because that doesnt help in the slightest, it only causes more problems, just cut down and eat less carbs and drink water instead of coke etc. Mainly exercise. Dont over exert yourself though because that can also damage your muscles and insides.

Hope it works out. xxxxx

are we talking 10 kilos (22 lbs) or 2 kilos (4 lbs) if it really is 10 kilos - there may be an issue!

I dont know about other countries but Americans drink a ton of pop (soda). If you drink any of this stuff. just stop. Its nothing but calories and sugar. i lost 10lbs by cutting soda out over the course of 7-8 months.

I find that since i was 15 my weight has been up and down all over the place, it's probably an age thing, maybe your metabolism slowing down? Anyway even though four pounds in twelve months is hardly anything I can understand how you feel, whenever I put on a few unwanted pounds I start doing more exercise, (which i should do regularly anyway, not just when i want to lose weight) usually just go for a walk every day or jog about a mile, 2 miles. And I stop eating when I'm not hungry, snacking when I'm not actually hungry is the easiest way to put on weight especially when it's things like salty or sugary stuff. so i just eat less of that rubbish. And the pounds drop off :D just from a bit more activity and less unhealthy food. easy really. and there are always more....exciting.... ways of keeping active. if you get my drift ;) hope this helps.xxx

penta agony auntPlease be careful. The amount you've gained is practically nothing, and YOU'RE NOT FAT! Good diet and exercise are good for you anyway, so I recommend that. But please don't go on some fad diet just to lose 4 pounds! You body sometimes varies that much just around your monthly cycle, anyway. You could cut salt increase your water intake and lose that much in retained water alone!

kenny agony auntI don't think you have gained that much weight, and your boyfriend dosen't seem to think you have.

If you are really that worried get plenty of excercise and up your protein intake. Minimise the amount of starchy foods you consume, and cut out the sweet things and fizzy drinks.

All the best x

4 pounds in 12 months isn't that much and your boyfriend doesn't seem to mind. If you want to lose weight why don't you do some sort of exersise that you like e.g. swimming?

YummyMummy agony auntHunni you are only 19 and 4 pounds in 12 months isn't that big a deal especially if your boyfriend doesn't think you are getting fat.

If you are really that concerned make sure you exercise, try and cut out carbs and drink lots of water instead or fizzy drinks or alcohol.
