You're a free man now. If you like her, and you feel ready to move on, then go for it! There are no rules set in stone on things like that, so just start dating whenever you feel that you are ready to do so.

Well there are no hard and fast rules. If I were you I'd take things slow. Maybe ask her out on a date, or just for a drink or something casual.
Take things slowly and don't go jumping straight in. I splt up with my girlfriend of 15 months about 2 months ago and am only just about ready to get out there again.
Dating doesn't mean you're boyfriend/girlfriend. Get to know each other, become friends, go for coffee, lunch, casual stuff and get to know her. When you're truly ready to be in a relationship it'll just happen.
