reader, anonymous, writes (1 June 2009): I don't really know what it is either. But I totally get you. I have the same thing going on. And it pretty much sucks. I'm going to the doctors about it. I'm only 16, so I doubt it's breast cancer. But still, pray for me. That's MY solution, go see a doctor. It's nothing anyone else here hasn't told you.

 Your boobs could be just going, or tender from times in your menstraul cycle. Or Maybe youve just knocked it or hit it roughly. However there are alot more serious causes like types of cancers or other problems. Its best to get it checked out if its causing you concern x

 At your age, usually nothing to worry about. Me and my sister have had similar for years. Always on the same side too. I think there is a name for breast pain, but I dont know what it is. Its more likely something to do with hormones. Why it only happens on one side though is anyones guess! Go see the doc, let us know what they say.
