My boyfriend has called me my ex's name three times now, i over reacted at first and said if he did it again i couldnt forgive him, yet he has done it since but seeing how angry he is with himself after ive forgiven him. The wierd thing is he call his ex my name all the time too, ive been there when he has been calling her my name and wondering why she isnt responding. does it just mean he gets our names confused or does it mean that he wishes he was with her, like he is with me? Should i just forget about it, or is it a problem?

This is just a silly mistake, it's not deliberate. Don't make a big fuss, it makes you look childish. Ignore it. It doesn't mean anything. You are reading way to much into this and it will make you look very insecure if you make a big deal over it.

dirtball agony auntYeah, that happens sometimes. It can be frustrating and anoying, but I doubt he's doing it on purpose. He wants to be with you. If he didn't, he wouldn't be with you.

eyeswideopen agony auntI do this all the time. Relax, it just means he's name challenged. How similar are your names? Not that it makes any difference in my case.
