The only thing is she told me i had to do my audition on skype on a web cam in order to filter through auditions quicker. Which is understandable, at first i thought this was a bit dodgy, but she i have to show some outfits, so i thought even if it is dodgy all they want to see me in is some outfits, so i out some together, ready for the audition. When it came to my audition, i went to put on an out fit and she said you dont have to keep going to change its all about confidence and not being shy about your body,so everything was fine until she said i had to do something called a cleavage check with no support, and i had to take off my top and bra but i could cover them with my fingers, i wasnt to sure about that, and also they have to check my behind in something like a thong? these things i wernt to sure about, i asked why they didnt have a web cam she said they wernt allowed to have web cam because of things that have happened in the past. Do, modeling agencys normally ask things like this? or are they some sort pervert? please help!

No reputable modeling agency would contact you and then ask you to "audition" by Skype.
Not a guess.

A reputable modeling agency would NOT have you do any of those things! The "companies" that ask girls to do those things are looking for pictures for their porn sites, web cams, etc. I hope you did not sign anything....If you keep going with this, don't be surprised if you are asked to go completely naked or to take pictures in compromising positions with another female or a male. And when they promise all kinds of money...you will learn you can make even more doing porn! My biggest concern for you is that one of these days your picture is going to show up on a advertisement for porn and/or photoshopped (it happened to my daughter's friend...some website took her picture right off of facebook because her profile was public and she was only 17 at the time and it was an advertisement for teen porn,,, just sickening)...there is nothing classy or on the up and up about porn, it's all about the money, not the welfare or concern of a women, that's for sure.A reputable modeling agency will work with you and take proper photos and if there is a job, you will be sent out for a photo shoot to the company. Some girls are great for clothing ads, some for underwear and some just for smut. Don't fall prey to it.

That doesn't sounds LEGIT at all.
What they SHOULD do is see a head shot then see you in person. NOT through Skype. I know a LOT of things are done on Skype (even job interviews) but this? Sounds bloody iffy.
Did you have to PAY anything for this?
I would even considering contacting the police, this can be a really bad thing. Can you just imagine some pervert sitting there and picking a girl ? Yea, for some reason I can't help thinking "Taken" (the movie).
I would say I'm 99% sure this is a scam and a scary one too.

How do you know for certain it's a "she"? This sounds very dodgy to me. I wouldn't do it, if I were you.

if they called you (Not if they came up to you say in a coffee shop or something) then for sure it's a scam
no agency will make you skype
and no nudes or cleavage check is required.
SCAM
SCAM
SCAM
yes this is a scam. I would call your local law enforcement and ask them what they think. I wonder if this sleezy place has tried this with under aged girls.... that could get them shut down fairly easily.
DO NOT DO IT.

If a modeling agency contacted you they are 100% and without question a SCAM. There is the OCCASIONAL rare situation where someone will be scouted on the street, but what is happening to you is a scam. 100% scam scam scam.

Reputable modelling agencies are besieged with inquiries from hopefuls, of whom they only select those few who have the right look while meeting stringent height and weight restrictions. "are they some sort pervert?"Exactly, and most likely a porn site looking to see how far you're willing to go so they can peddle racy pics of you to any slob with a credit card. NEVER pose on skype or webcam, once your image is in cyberspace it's out there forever, which is also the length of time for which you will have unwittingly signed over the rights to the pics. Many now middle-aged and elderly persons who posed nude for a few bucks as young adults are now being unexpectedly confronted with their youthful indiscretions and there's nothing they can do as they received payment and the releases they signed years before the Internet came to be are still valid. Don't make a mistake that can literally haunt you for the rest of your life.

If you can Google their name and find some good info on them I'd do it in the future.
In this case I can't say for sure but if I had to put money on it you are probably on the Internet somewhere by now.
They can record the Web chat and post it. They didn't include their faces because they didn't want proof.
I hope I'm wrong but it just sounds too fishy. Modeling is one of those things that people want to do so bad that they ignore their instincts to do it, either by posing nude or by giving money and not getting anything in return.
