He was on a massage table and I spent the hour being contorted on a mat on the floor.I was given eyeshades to wear but apparently, he was not. After the massage was finished, I observed that he wasn't wearing the towel he originally had on but just a very sheer sheet .He had nothing on under that towel. Allegedly, the female therapist whipped it off during the treatment. Is this normal? I'm not sure what to think about this scenario. What do you think? Reply to this Question Share |

But when the therapist gets to know you they ask you if you mind taking your underwear off and then when they know you very well they stop using the towel as well I must admit it is a better massage done naked there is no sex or any thing like that at the ones I have been too it just feels better I would think most men would become eret but the therapists are used to that. There hands come very close to the private parts in fact some will massage the groin

I've had many massages and i have to say they do it differently in all parts of the country.
what you describe would never happenend it the USA. We are very strict. However i've had a massage in Vietnam where I they did everything differently. And it too was recommended by a posh hotel.
What's done is done, but for future experience, it's best to tell the therapist what you are comfortable with. Like leave the towel on..don't touch there..ect.
Most of them are professional because it is their job and their paycheck to feed their family so i don't think she is doing anything differently than she does with all her clients. To make sure ..you can always call the hotel and ask them what their procedure is to give you peace of mind

I have had many massages but there is no "set" rule for attire etc. In thailand you are made to lie on the floor perhaps on a mattress or sheet and they do contort you a bit - you are normally given something loose to wear and you must be fully clothed for this sort of massage! All other body massages I have had, generally you are naked - but they move around the covering or sheets depending on the area they are massaging. Generally part of your body is always covered; so for instance if they are massaging your back, your lower body is coveres, if they are massaging your right leg/thigh area, then the left/thigh area would be covered and so on. So yes body massages normally does involve some sort of nudity and there is nothing dodgy done...Hope that helps and I dont think you should be worried too much. Good luck.

If it makes you feel any better, it's usually against their work code to start any sexual relationship with their clients and if one happens, they will be immediately fired and given negative references.
I don't think somoene would risk that for just a quickie.

I've never actually had a massage so I have no idea. But did you ask your husband what happened? Maybe ask a masseuse in your area if it's normal.

The last massage I had, with a female masseuse, I was given a sheet to drape over myself. She moved the sheet around, being sure to keep my private parts covered all the time. Other than that sheet, I had nothing else on. I was not given an eye-shade to wear.
But I've only ever had a handful of massages (sorry, bad pun) so I'm not an expert.
I think it would be extremely unlikely that any hanky-panky or funny business was going on as you were in the room too.
