You might be tempted to totally joke about it or something, but try not to. At least not at first. The important thing is just don't make it some great big defining thing about you in people's minds. If you tell them at all, you still don't want to be remembered the next day as "_____, that guy who's never gotten any."
Most girls either think of a guy as BF material or not, right off the bat. You usually can't go from a friend to a BF. It usually only works when the girl thought of you as BF material the whole time.
You know all that time you're trying to be friendly, before you want to start pushing the BF idea in their heads? Well, THAT'S WHEN YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE DATING THEM! You're supposed to already be dating them DURING that "getting to know you" period, not afterwards!
I'm not saying don't get to know anyone whatsoever before asking them out, but it's something to think about. Make sure you don't establish a relationship too long & well before you start pushing in a romantic direction.
