birdynumnums agony auntI prefer the line from "Back to the Future", and say it to my husband all the time - "You are my Density". But, seriously, I believe in Fate and Karma, so I guess I believe in Destiny too. How it's applied to "The One"... Not too sure about that. I think that there are a number of different people that you are going to meet who could possibly be the right person under the right circumstances, if your head is in the right space and you are open to meeting someone, then it happens. I think love is more about two like-minded individuals wanting the same thing at the same time and being good to each other. It tends to happen when you least expect it. I'm not sure that I believe in only one true soul-mate, cause with the way my luck runs, he would have been born in Russia when I was in Canada. If that happened, no one would ever meet anyone to fall in love with, and people still do! But - I DO recall meeting my husband and staring at the back of his head for an entire evening before he finally asked me to dance. He told me later that he told his buddy to dance with my girlfriend because she was too tall. I never ever gave out my phone number in those days, but I did give it to him. Two weeks later, I told her that I was going to marry that boy. We've been together 35 years. Destiny? Or circumstances all happening at the same time? Who knows...

jm81690 agony auntI don't believe in soulmates.

Just think, there are give or take 6.5 billion people in the world, the odds of you finding 1 perfect person is pretty low.

No matter who you end up with there is probably someone in the world who is better for you.

But that's no reason to give up trying to find someone.

TomWilkinson agony auntPersonally I think there is. However, you have to be careful because sometimes (as I found out the hard way) you can believe that somebody is "the one" when they're not. I haven't found my "soulmate" but I have believed I had. Keep the faith but don't let it drive your decisions, for example, still date people even if you don't believe it's your destiny to be with them x

gmapeaches agony auntWish I had the answer to that question.. I do think there is someone for everyone..Thats why it is so important to not waste time hanging with a guy that you know is not THE one... but there are alot shaky areas in that theory.. you love a guy.. feel a special connection, a bond that you just can't explain.. but he is immature not ready for you.. is he the right one, wrong time.. I don't know.. been in some relationships in my years.. I have seen some exceptional relationships.. destiny or a lot of effort.. I think that relationships at there best are still something that has to be worked at.. i wish i had some perfect answer..this guy i am with now.. i thougth he was destiny and most days i still do.. treats me better than i have ever been treated.. but we have our problems.. and some days those seem way bigger than destiny.. good luck..
