don't worry, "brewer's droop" affects a lot of us when drunk. usually it's ok, but after drinking so much, there are very real medical reasons for it. I live with a medicine student who told me exactly what happens but i can't remember what he said.
it is nothing to do with you. entirely the booze. don't get worked up over nothing.

 Its real. Drinking decreases inhibition but it also decreases ability to sense things overall. Pretty simple concept if you think about it.
