writes: Hi, I'm a 19 year old female and unfortunately a bit of a picky eater. I eat vegetables but hate fruit. I'm terrified of cancers and what state my body will be in when I'm older and starting a family etc. I'm taking centrum vitamin supplements and Omega fish oils but I was wondering are there any better supplements I can take? B17 is actually ban in Canada and in the U.S because it helps prevent cancer in the future (my father in law is in remission from cancer right now and he has had cancer for 20 years and has been taking b17 for 17 years) my whole family takes it (there actually just apricot seeds)
when i can't order them online i just go out and buy some apricot's and seed them
your suppose to take 7 a day but they taste extremely bitter
that is as good as i could probably suggest for you since fruit is not your forte

I will tell you though, stressing out about your health is quite unhealthy in itself. Just enjoy your life and find ways of putting fruit in your diet, through smoothies, jam, juices, dried fruits there are lots of ways of eating fruit that don't really taste like or have the texture of fruit.

You can get cancer just by breathing - poullted air can cause cancer according to scientists so really, dont worry so much! In reality not eating fruit but still eating vegetables means you will be fine - you are still getting enough vitamins and minerals if you try and eat 5 portions of veg a day - so really you have nothing to worry about.
In fact, veg is much better for you than fruit, as fruit contains a lot of natural sugars and some fruits also contain acids which contribute towards acid erosion of the teeth.
So really all you need to do is keep on eating lots of veg, take your supplements and you will be fine!
