Unfortuantely I also tend to sweat quite a bit so I end up with some pretty unattractive sweat marks and this is a little embarrassing!Would this be a real turn off to guys? Or if they are the sporting type would they understand? Is there anything I can do to prevent my self from sweating so much (other than getting fitter - which I am trying to do!) or to stop the sweat marks from showing so much!Any advice would be appreciated! You body sweats to cool down your core body temperature. This is perfectly natural and shouldn't be "contained". If it turns guys off they are just uneducated and don't understand how the human body works.

I don't find it unattractive and I never considered "sweating" being a problem.

I am wondering about this question. Do you mean that you sweat a lot whilst playing sport, or at other times? Some of the top female athletes in sport sweat a huge amount while they are playing or competing. Female tennis players, hockey players, soccer players, and some of the athletes I watched recently were drenched in sweat. This is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about, especially if you are good and serious about sport. I always felt that some potentially great sporting females never took up their best activity, because they were a little unsure about 'how' they looked as they played. There are very few women who are able to look at their best while playing a sport, and the top girls, when they are 'in the zone' are not worried about their looks, or sweat rings, or matted hair at all. Good luck, keep your focus on sport, and look glamourous when you reach the top.

I've experienced 'sweat problems' with women before and I have to say it has put me off. But most men will be understanding, if your honest about it and seek to resolve it quickly. - hope this helps.

also roll on deos are usually better for the amount of sweating.
if you go to your doctor they should give perscription deo that could help or otherwise they may reccomend botox in your sweat glands as a major treatment if its really bad.
i dont think sweating would put guys off. smell would i think.
try wearing no sweat sports tops. i knwo reebok and nike do them ,they are really good.
hope everything turns out okay:)

You should check with your Doctor. There are prescription deodorants, and I have heard of Botox and Lazer treatments that help. There is also a small electrical device that you can hold under you armpit for 40 minutes a few times a week that helps to shut down the amount that you sweat. He should be able to steer you towards what you need, depending on your symptoms and what you tell him. :^)
